The UH UX Lab is located on the third floor of Brazos Hall on the Sugar Land part of the UH Campus (rooms 334 and 336). This lab is run by Dr. Elizabeth Rodwell and exists to support University of Houston students and faculty who seek to integrate usability studies into their projects or research, and can benefit from its specialized technology.

Equipment:

• Tobii Pro Fusion eye tracker (must take free Tobii training or use supervised)

• 1 Soundproofed Control Room with mixing console that includes the ability to manipulate PTZ cameras and audio in the observation room, point-to-talk microphones to broadcast audio into the observation room, A/V screens (6), 2 computer monitors, and visualization wall with one flat-screen TV monitor

• 1 Observation room with PTZ ceiling cameras, a 6-piece table that can be separated or used as one larger table, ceiling speakers, and a visualization wall with one flat-screen TV, controllable from the Control Room

• 1 Dell with the capacity to record all video taken by observation room cameras

• 1 Mac Pro

• 2 iPad Pro tablets

• 2 Samsung tablets
